About This Role

Aladdin® is an operating system for investment managers that seeks to connect the information, people, and technology needed to manage money in real time. The Aladdin platform combines risk analytics with portfolio management, trading, compliance, and operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision-making, effective risk management, efficient trading, and operational scale. Aladdin is used by a community of over 200 institutional clients around the world, including BlackRock. There are over 50,000 end users of Aladdin globally. The team is comprised of 800+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Aladdin Studio team and help Aladdin clients maximize the value received from technology solutions like APIs and the Aladdin Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use Aladdin Studio’s capabilities (e.g. Aladdin Data Cloud, APIs and Compute Platform)to develop custom, fit-for-purpose solutions for clients and prospective clients

  • Drive analytics andproductimprovements for Aladdin Studio based on client feedback and broader trendsin the financial technology industry

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise and thought leadership to drive client engagement

  • Provide direct client support throughout the pre-sales and implementation processes

  • Coordinate to resolve analytics-related issues and ensure successful deployments of new analytics features

  • Provide guidance on sophisticated/complex analytics inquiries from clients and partners across the client business, including Client Servicesand Analytics Production teams

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience in the financial services industry

  • Strong interest in FinTech and an affinity for self-paced, independent learning

  • Working understanding of equity, fixed income and derivative products

  • Knowledge of buy-side investment management workflows such as trading, compliance, operations and settlements

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients

  • Proven experience working on large, complex projects and a proactive approach tosolving problems

  • Proficiencywith business intelligence tools such as Power BI

  • Strong proficiency with SQL

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and at least one scripting language (e.g. Python)
