The Performance Measurement and Attribution (PMA) team, part of the Global Accounting and Product Services group, has a reputation for aligning our performance attribution solutions with the evolving needs of our clients. Our core objectives are consistently driven by these tenets:

As a member of PMA, take part in the story and take ownership as a subject matter authority! We are responsible for investment performance analysis globally across all investment strategies. We work with multiple business divisions, including iShares, active and beta strategies that include both equity and fixed income products. The team focuses on using technology and project management to improve existing processes to optimize data delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will contribute to performance calculations across Benchmark, Regulatory and Unitised products, touching asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income, Commodities, Cash, Derivatives, Targets and Multi-asset.
You will be a source of performance and system knowledge, providing guidance and expertise to stakeholders across the business in relation to benchmark construction, performance holidays and calculation methodology.
·You will gain a full understanding of internal analytical systems (Aladdin), and use them to investigate internal and external client inquires related to content and functionality of BlackRock's performance attribution reporting applications.
·Partner on automation and development of existing functions.
·You will support PMA team members in cross functional learning processes and development.
Knowledge / Experience:
·You have a performance, attribution or index background with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience.
·You want to learn about multi-asset, fixed income and equity instruments, and their associated performance attribution models.
·You display a knowledge of performance principles; experience with external performance tools a plus.
·You are passionate about learning new technologies.
·You show a positive, proactive get the job done attitude and are flexible to an ever-changing environment.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Graduated with a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent.
- You show strong problem-solving ability, and the ability to synthesise information, summarise issues, and take initiative.
- Open to learning – BlackRock provides a wealth of information and this role is ideal for someone who is hungry to learn as much as possible.
- Exposure to data science tools (Python, Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (SQL, Perl, Java) advantageous

Our hybrid work model
