The SRA Operations Team provides outstanding operational support across the organization with a client-centric focus. This group manages the post trade lifecycle for cleared options, equity and fixed income products. It plays an integral role within the organization interacting with multiple internal partners and external parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Compare custodian data against internal positions and transactions.
- Work with executing brokers and custodians to resolve trade breaks.
- Act as an operational specialist for internal and external parties.
- Reply to diverse external and internal requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and client teams to ensure analytics are aligned with investment workflows.
- Conduct investigations into operations model behavior and performance, providing insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Work on projects to streamline operations, automate processes, and reduce errors.
- Effectively document and maintain processes.
Experience
- MUST HAVE knowledge of financial services and/or industry experience in Wealth/Asset Management
- Options/Derivative experience a plus.
- 2+ years of working experience
- SQL knowledge a plus
- SEI/Series 7 a plus
- Entrepreneurial drive and insight to identify control gaps and drive operational improvement initiatives.
- Project Management and Operational Improvement skills (Prince, Lean, Six Sigma) or experience working with robotics / AI would be advantageous
- Comfortable collecting and distilling operational improvement requirements from internal and external users to provide technology partners with a clear understanding of improvement opportunities
- Self starter who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, who can assist with the creation of agendas
- Creative individual, who possess a passion for problem solving, is numerically proficient, has outstanding analytical skills and can think creatively
- Deep interest in data, metrics, analysis and trends but also an ability to think strategically and keep sight of the bigger picture
- Entrepreneurial drive and insight to identify control gaps and drive operational improvement initiatives.
- Excellent verbal communicator, capable of articulating complex problems in a simplistic manner
- Customer service oriented and experience facing off with clients or partners
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated concepts simply and clearly
