Global Product Solutions (GPS)

BlackRock’s Global Product Solutions develops, launches, manages and distributes investment solutions across multiple strategies and asset classes. The global team includes quantitative analysts, investment strategists and research analysts. We partner with clients to solve their investment and liability challenges by understanding their objectives, advising on solutions, and designing and implementing strategies that meet or exceed goals.

Equity Product Strategy - Budapest Hub (EPS)

The EPS Budapest Hub team is a group of technical index specialists whose aim is to help and support London Product Strategy team through data analysis and drive the commercial agenda across our EMEA ETF and Index Mutual Fund product ranges. The team aids technical insight and analytics to clients while also enhance the client engagement through thought leadership, tactical content and complex data analysis. They cover the full equity range from broad equity beta exposures through to more targeted precision exposures including factors, thematics, sectors, alternatives and commodities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active management of the content pipeline for product segments, overseeing the regular updating and maintenance of key materials such as client decks, product brochures, and emails. Ensure that all content is aligned with current market trends, incorporating relevant business intelligence to enhance strategic decision-making. 
  • Utilizing various data sources and tools to provide analysis and respond to daily client requests and queries, supporting both the London team and sales team under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Streamline processes and workflows within the team to maximize efficiency. Leverage IT skills to automate relevant tasks
  • Work in partnership with other Blackrock teams to enhance efficiency and generate synergy

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Interest and understanding of the financial markets and the ETF industry; be up to date on macro events and market trends
  • Experience in asset management in general with a preference for ETF or Index Mutual Fund exposure or other relevant experience
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude supported by the ability to effectively combine outputs from different sources of technology/systems
  • Must possess the desire and ability to work in a team-orientated environment
  • The ability to communicate effectively – either by simplifying complex concepts or going deeper when more technical explanations are required

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required; and/or Masters/CFA a plus
  • Strong written, analytical, presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Attention to detail a must with strong analytical skills
  • Independent problem solving and excellent deadline management skill
