Job Duties: Responsible for the implementation of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and allocation-based solutions, as well as analytical and reporting applications. Responsible for the implementation of several key initiatives in change management. Utilizing the in-depth and advanced knowledge of the project life cycle management from conceptualization through to implementation, partner and collaborate with our global finance teams to support change and global transformation initiatives across automation, transition, business performance management, and resilience planning. Analyze business needs, the data behind it, and how to transform this information into solutions for decision making and streamlined processes. Serve as a key resource in supporting the buildout, testing, code migration and maintenance of the Cognos (IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos Analytics) Financial Management Platform at BlackRock. Drive IBM Planning Analytics development initiatives forward in collaboration with various stakeholders across Finance and manage projects from end-to-end using software development lifecycle approach. Manage month-end and quarter-end data processing to support actuals and forecast/budget close process across financial platform(s), Oracle, Hierarchy Manager, Planning Analytics, Cognos Analytics. Support a variety of functions within the Global BlackRock Finance department to understand business uses cases for Planning Analytics development, and other automation and solutions. Analyze principles of sound corporate operating procedures and business processes, and proactively look for opportunities to optimize the current business processes within Finance globally. Provide day to day user support for our IBM Planning Analytics (f.k.a. TM1) application.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Studies, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Employer will accept a 3-year Bachelor's degree or a 4-year Bachelor's degree. Position also requires six (6) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position also requires six (6) years of experience in the following skills: Utilizing methods of forecasting and budgeting, Headcount and related expenses, Transfer Pricing and Costing (business Economics) to deliver on objectives in support of Finance Function(s) leveraging technical ecosystems; designing SOX controls and working with internal and external auditors to support Finance team in adhering to regulatory requirements and proactively enhancing key controls in support of internal and external audit prep; utilizing Blue Prism and Microsoft Office suite to deliver on objectives in support of Finance Function(s) leveraging the technical ecosystem; managing month-end and quarter-end data processing to support actuals and forecast/budget close process across financial platform(s); analyzing principles of sound corporate operating procedures and business processes, and proactively looking for opportunities to optimize the current business processes
