The ideal candidate will apply their cybersecurity expertise and collaborate closely with subject matter experts to create high-quality, realistic scenarios and instructional content. In this dual role, the candidate will also serve as the lead for cyber assessments, leveraging a strong understanding of threat actors’ tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to coordinate employee assessments. This includes managing phishing simulations using Microsoft Attack Simulator and overseeing vishing campaigns through external vendors. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing assessment outcomes using Power BI and summarizing key findings in reports for firm leadership. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role requires public speaking and the ability to guide diverse audiences through complex technical discussions. Proficiency in technical writing and advanced PowerPoint design is also required. Experience delivering training instruction in both in-person and live virtual formats is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Information Security policies, standards, and procedures related to data privacy, technology use, incident response, and broader cybersecurity topics.

  • Ability to design training and exercise solutions that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience reviewing and updating cyber response playbooks, ensuring consistency across stakeholders and accuracy of critical processes.

  • Skilled in collaborating with subject matter experts, vendors, and internal teams to ensure exercise content and assessment structure reflects current security architecture and technology stack.

  • Familiarity with modern collaboration tools such as SharePoint Online, Teams, and Webex.

  • Knowledge of current threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), with the ability to incorporate them into large-scale cyber assessment campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cyber exercises, incident response, or cyber assessments program management.

  • Proven experience managing cybersecurity exercise programs or assessment initiatives.

  • Strong background in Financial Sector, National Security, and/or Information Security environments.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Advanced PowerPoint design and editing skills for creating impactful presentations.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, instructional design or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
