About this role
Team Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced learning professional to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the global learning and development strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
The ideal candidate will have a background in learning and development, with exposure to learning design and technology, excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for developing talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with BlackRock's business goals and objectives
Support learning needs for various BlackRock Academies
Support the intake, design, development, and delivery of global and regional training courses, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and our employees.
Shaping the curriculum of globally required training courses, including Compliance, Information Security and HR courses.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify learning needs and ensure the effective implementation of learning initiatives
Partner with HR Technology Platform team to drive the adoption of innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience and improve outcomes
Provide support on Learning Experience Platform for learning content/pathways management
Partner with various team members to establish metrics and evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and continuously improve their impact
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Graduate degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning and development, with proven track record of program/project management with a high degree of detail orientation
Learning design and program management
Strong familiarity with learning content authoring tools and LMS/LXP - with a good understanding of AI capabilities in this market
Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities
Strong stakeholder management skills
Strong project and time management skills
Ability to drive innovation and implement new learning technologies
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions
Superior skills in Microsoft suite including proficiency knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
Desire to leverage AI in day-to-day practice
Relevant certifications in learning and development, such as CPLP, PMP, or similar, are welcome
