The Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) group manages the strategic technology partnerships with BlackRock Solutions clients globally. ACE serves as the senior, trusted interface between clients and the Aladdin business, with accountability for value delivery, platform adoption, and long-term commercial outcomes.
This role is a hands on Associate / Vice President position, supporting Tier 1 Middle East institutions, with a primary focus on Private Markets operating models and post trade, accounting, and data workflows across Aladdin and eFront. The successful candidate will operate across clients, shaping strategic narrative, influencing operating models, and ensuring Aladdin and eFront best practices are embedded across clients’ Public and Private Markets workflows.
Role Scope & Accountability
As part of one of BlackRock’s fastest growing businesses, you will combine deep investment lifecycle expertise with strong commercial judgment and executive presence. You will act as a functional owner across Operations and Accounting workflows, supporting client outcomes through structured delivery ownership, issue resolution, and close partnership with senior ACE leads.
You will engage directly with senior stakeholders at Tier1 Middle East institutions, shaping strategic discussions, influencing operating models, and ensuring Aladdin, eFront and WPS are embedded as core components of the client’s investment and operating infrastructure. The role requires strong judgment, executive presence, and the ability to balance strategic advisory with hands on ownership of delivery, escalation management, and internal coordination across product, engineering, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Commercial Ownership at a Functional Level
- Own client functions across Tier‑1 Middle East institutions, acting as the primary point of accountability for value realization and relationship health for users predominantly in the Operations & Accounting Space
- Play an active role in platform adoption and commercial outcomes across Aladdin, eFront and WPS
- Partner with senior client stakeholders & ACE leads to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes that strengthen long-term partnership
Value Delivery & Platform Adoption
- Deliver high quality front to back value delivery for Private Markets clients, with a particular focus on eFront enabled investment operations, accounting, and data workflows
- Apply deep understanding of Private Markets operating models to support complex client use cases across investment lifecycle events and post trade workflows
- Drive functional adoption initiatives in partnership with product and client teams to embed Aladdin and eFront within day-to-day Operations & Accounting processes
Internal Leadership & Orchestration
- Build strong working relationships across Aladdin and eFront product, engineering, and support teams to enable coordinated delivery outcomes
- Support escalation management by owning analysis, coordination, and follow through under the guidance of senior ACE leadership
- Contribute client insights and functional feedback to inform platform enhancements and roadmap discussions
Market & Growth Contribution
- Support regional go to market initiatives and contribute to the growth of BlackRock Solutions across the Middle East
- Demonstrate understanding of the Aladdin platform credibly with sophisticated institutional clients, reinforcing BlackRock’s differentiated value proposition linked to functional coverage

Required Experience & Profile
- 6+ years of experience in Financial Services, Financial Technology, Consulting, or the Buy‑Side, with meaningful exposure to Private Markets operating models
- Strong understanding of Private Markets investment operations, accounting, and post trade workflows, with familiarity across the broader front to back lifecycle
- Proven experience supporting complex institutional clients in delivery oriented, client facing roles, partnering effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute credibly in client discussions while operating within a broader account team
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in consulting, project management, or client relationship management roles within financial technology
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large, complex programs across multiple stakeholders
- A working knowledge of SQL, UNIX, VBA, R, Python or similar, and/or Aladdin
- Experience working or delivering on projects across Investment Operations & Accounting
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
