Online Application
& Pre-Interview
Assessment
Enter basic details and upload your resume/CV. You'll receive a link to complete a pre-interview assessment where you record answers to questions based on the program you applied to. For software engineers, this includes a coding challenge. Applications will not be considered if the pre-interview assessment is not completed.
Interviews
Participate in virtual interviews with representatives of the function(s) of interest. These conversations will be focused on the BlackRock Principles, your experience or your capabilities and may include a group exercise, presentation or case study. For software engineers, this may include problem-solving exercises or technical questions.

What is asset management?
Asset managers differ from most other financial firms in that they act as agents managing other people’s money. Our purpose is to help more and more people experience financial well-being.
Asset managers recommend various products and vehicles of investment after doing due diligence and assessing the risk appetite of their clients. They seek to understand their clients’ financial goals and expected returns while keeping risk in mind.
