About this role
BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A seeks Vice President, Portfolio Management in San Francisco CA to design, develop, and implement algorithms which can be run in a safe, fast and scalable manner to help manage Fixed Income portfolios, including rebalancing funds to target due to cash flows and benchmark changes, and monitoring risk exposures. Req’s: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: performing programming and utilizing Python programming language and standard Object Oriented programming techniques; applying knowledge of Fixed Income markets, investment products and investment risk measures to help design tools to manage a range of portfolios; performing unit testing and developing code repositories utilizing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); and utilizing databases including SQL to develop and implement portfolio construction algorithms.
