BlackRock Investment Management, LLC. seeks Associate, Applied Analytics in New York, NY to be performing analytical and quantitative analyses, project and product management, and the creation and maintenance of supporting collateral as part of the Retirement Group (RG) Plan Strategy team. Req’s: Master’s degree or equivalent in Financial Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing statistical programming or data science technologies including Python, VBA, or Matlab; obtaining, cleaning, and processing large data sets; building visualizations of quantitative results using Tableau or other data visualization software; developing and implementing data models to extract insights from data sets to facilitate business decision making; and presenting insights from analyses to internal or external business partners and/or clients. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of the above listed fields and five (5) years of experience in the above listed skills.
